We have heard a lot of reports about fake R4 DS Cards in the market today. These cards, although fake, are not necessarily bad and we have found that alot of them work just as they should. However there are a few fakes around that can actually damage your DS. Therefore we would recommend sourcing only genuine ds cards. So where should you buy R4/R4i type cards from?
We have received many requests from websites to be listed on this page, but many of them are not worthy of mention! As you can imagine we have had to test alot of R4 cards over the years and have had to buy from lots of varying companies. If you check our forums you will find that a lot of people end up buying cards from random websites and have lots and lots of problems. There are many variations of R4/R4i cards to choose between. If you are not sure which one you need then let us recommend one for you. The card we would recommend is suitable for all Nintendo DS versions, so if you have a Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi or the new DSi XL then this is the card we would recommend. This card comes with an 8GB Micro SD card so you will be able to store lots of files onto it. You can't go wrong with this card and its the card we receive the fewest complaints and problems with.
