Hi, i have a NDSTT card and the first 8 games worked perfectly, but then when i put another 20 odd games on (8gb) it now says errcode 81 rom loading failed or something like that on ALL the newly downloaded games, but the picture shows? (game image) so looks at first like there all gonna work? Please help me what i need to do to get them all working and what software- so confused Thanks,Katey

Hi just looking for a little help! , ive got a R4 card with software v 1.18 which the original site says this is the latest version. I am just unsure cos some of my games still dont work, when ive looked on other sites they have higher versions? Help please!!!!!!

Thanks for your response, i got my r4 card over a year ago so im not sure which i have, all i know is its a revolution one. When i say they dont load i mean it sometimes does'nt show any pic or title in the touch screen just untitled or they load in but go no further than the main screen, with this i think i will have to be more patient lol

Hi i am completely new at this and dont understand half of it so here goes got aWI FI R4i SDHC v1.4.3 Upgrade revolution for Ds (i have a ds lite) with an 8gb memory i have formatted the memory card and downloaded the kernel for the r4 and i get the folders moonmemo moonshl2 R4i Menu and a R4 file but no system file or R4 dat file.

Hi, i was wondering if anyone could help me. I have an r4i sdhc card and when i try to use it i get a white screen with an angry looking picture of a ts card with the word menu? in red. I think it is related to not having the correct firmware. The url on the card is www.r4i-sdhc.hk there doest appear to be any support for my card though. only for the 3ds, there are also no contact details. I am using aa dsxl on version 1.4. the r4 card is wifi r4i upgrade with a star saying v1.4.1. any help would save my disappearing hair. thank you

Can you help me plz I have a 3ds & a R4i v1.4.3 The card was working fine until I updated my 3ds to vol 3 as it asks you to . Now I am getting An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER Button to turn the system off . I have tried updating the firmware at www.r4i-sdhc.uk to the latest firmware v3.0b but still getting same message. Is there anything else I can do or am I goiing to have to buy a new card

I need help on my r4i gold 3ds unlimited upgradable from www.r4igold.hk
I can't seem to download the firmware or kernel from there.
I can't can't even enter the r4igold.hk kernel site.
It always show the white screen every time when i click on the icon.
HELP PLEASE!?

If you already know what type of card you have and just want to be pointed in the right direction to get the latest software for your card then the best thing to do is use the URL that is most likely printed on the front of your DS card. That is the URL you MUST use for the software for your card.
Even if you already have a working DS card that you think is identical to your new one it is imperative that you always use the most recent software. The internal architecture of the card can change over time and this requires the latest software updates.
There is a chance that although your cards look the same they actually come from different manufacturers and the URL on the card will be ever so slightly different so check carefully. There are many clones out there, especially for R4. It does not mean they don't work. It does not matter that they are clones - they will all work, it just means you have to downlaod and use the software supplied by the manufacturer of YOUR card!
If you can not find the URL on your card then try this page for all the links we have found to date:

Hi Suzi,
What particular version of the r4 did you purchase? When you say they do not load do you mean the hang when starting? If you leave them long enough do they eventually load?
Do not worry about the different versions out there of the kernel software - different manufacturers release updates at different frequencies and so the release numbers have no relation to each other. A 1.4 version can be more up-to-date than a 2.6 of another manufacturer. :-)

If you go to their web site they have a section named downloads. Just make sure that you are getting the download for the R4i v1.4 and in the correct language setting.

Hi Carla,
I hope I can help. When you say that your card is not being recognised are you saying that it is like there is no DS card inserted into you console when in fact there is? If this is the case then it may have nothing to do with the software on your card. Please remove the DS card from your console and blow hard into the game slot. this is to remove any debris that may be present. Using a rubber carefully rub the metal contacts on the R4i card. Carefully re-insert this into the game slot ensuring it is seated correctly. Hopefully this will help. I know that this error can happen if you have tried to upgrade your card using he upgrade feature in the "config" menu on the R4i's home screen and the console s power was interrupted. Please get back in touch if you are still having issues.

Well you can use pretty much any micro SD. Its the capacity that matters. Normally a 8GB card would suit most people. But to be sure you will need to work out how much space you require for all of your games. Remember to leave room for your save files.
