Hello, I have a R4 SDHC Upgrade, the games engine model. and has the url www.r4i-sdhc.com. I could really use some help.
I purchased my card from the memory card zoo website (the firmware recommended by their website does not work either)
I am working on Mac OS X. Using disk utility, I wipe and format my to FAT32 2gb Micro SD card (its not high capacity, could that be an issue?).
I then copy and paste the folders from the firmware downloaded from this site: http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp (I have tried both the R4i v 1.22b and the R4i v1.09c - My card does not have an 'I' in its name yet this is the firmware I am referred to?).
I then eject my card reader, remove the micro sd, place it in my R4, and try booting my DS up.
Every single time I get the same screen A red box (rectangular with top right corner slightly cut off) with the words:
? Menu
I have followed all your guides down to the letter. The only difference I can see is that i am using mac os x disk utility to format the drive, but it still uses FAT.
Please help

Hi,
We can confirm that the software you need is the v1.22b - the R4i and R4 software is the same and work on both cards, you are using the R4 card (Without the i). This is solely for use on Nintendo DS and will not work on the DSi.
If you have tried this, and it sounds like you have, could you post a screenshot of the micro sd drive as it looks on your MAC, showing the folders etc?
Have you contacted Memory Card Zoo about this issue? They are usually extremely good at helping resolve issues such as these.
