By gman - 05/01/2010 21:09:03 i bought a limted edition christmas r4i and i followed all the steps and the bottom screen goes black and the top is blank. i have got ver 1.4 on dsi and on my r4i i got one that can suppert ver 1.4 butit does not work so how do you fix it??: By m the m king - 06/01/2010 06:18:19 grr i bought an r4i gold edition and when i try to download the software it just comes up with the loading sighn and im almost positive that none of my files are corrupt because ive done rbis alot of times and it just dosent work one other thing how do you save to the root of the memory card because the moderator is talking about a possibility that you may not be saving it to the root of the memory card WHAT DOES ROOT OF THE MEMORY CARD MEEN By R4DSCards Tech - 06/01/2010 15:50:57 Hi Both, It would seem that you both have the same problem - you have either downloaded the incorrect software for your particular DS card or have an outdated version of it. gman - is your R4i an Upgrade R4i? if so what is the URL on the card itself? m the m king - Can you try the latest software from here: R4i Gold Kernel. When it says Save in root of memory card it means not inside any folder on the card. On the memory card itself. So if your memory card is on drive E: of your pc the file should be in "E:\". The word Root is used to define the top most level of a drive or folder.
