the only reason that i can think of is maybe a faulty sd card. if the ds is completely turned off then something is acting like ram. how are you placing the roms on the card are you putting them into a folder or directly onto the sd card?

yes place them in a folder called rom. you make that folder using your computer.

I have done this, and it worked fine, put some more games on yesterday about 80 in total, and it still was working fine, today i got another 80games on, using up all the memory space and it worked for a while but it has done the same thing, wiped all the games off, and just a white screen flashes twice. Do you reckon i have put to many games on?

the only thing that i can put it at is the sd card try another one if you can. when you over load a sd card it will not play anything, but i dont think that drag n drop in windows will let you over load the card. it sounds like is shorting out in the sd card. but there could also be a spike in the r4 card when you turn it off . try another sd card
