Hi Folks, this is probably a familiar lament,  I got a r4i upgrade v1.4, I got the correct software from r4i-sdhc.com i followed all the tutorials exactly, but I'm still getting "no card inserted." This for a brand new dsi

If I put my brother's r4 card in (he's got a ds with no i) I can get to the start menu, but instantly get "an error has occured" when I click start.
I got the card from corebits services ltd.
The sd card I'm using is a kingston formatted fat
I've reformatted the card, re-installed all the software.
When I'm copying the files cross, I'm getting a warning, "OK to copy file without it's properties?"
I think that's all the info.

Hope you can help, but I think it's a duff card.

Thanks,

Herdsman

Hi Herdsman

I think you are right - either your Micro SD or your R4i is faulty - have you got another Micro SD card you can choose to rule that out?

Many Thanks

Sorry I meant MicroSD - Didn't work, so I'm currently trying to download the kernel software onto a different PC (I didn't like that "copy properties" error message) flr one last go before I moan to the R4i supplier.

Cheers,
