I recently bought an r4i gold card and the company which sold it to me, gave me a site to download the firmware which was right for my card. So I did. I made sure there were no useless ".rar" or ".zip" files in the microSD card. However, I downloaded a bunch of ".nds" games from a lot of different sites (which means they can't be all faulty) and when I tried to play them I had problems with all of them. Some stuck just when I started them (giving me a black screen), some stuck after a while of playing (at the same point always) and most of them, for the time they worked had problems with the sound. I tried to format the sd card as suggested (without any external programs, just by right clicking the "format" option) but the problem insisted. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Well the game files should be okay since they were working on my friend's dsi. The thing is that my friend is not using the r4i gold, but the original r4i so that might be an indication that the problem is in the r4i card and not on the game files.
