Hi, this is my first post so a bit new to this!
I have a DSi and bought an R4i card for it. I have seen some of my problem described many times but not all of it.
When you go to load a game for the first time it is so slow that you have to restart the system then the game will load. You can play the game perfectly and save it. If you go to play another game, you can do the same thing, play and save as normal but once the system is switched off then on again all the save files are gone. If you play just one game and save it then switch it off then back on again the save file seems to stay, so its as if the card has a problem creating more than one file.
The DSi has been reset back to original factory settings as i heard that could make a difference.
I have re-installed all the software and formatted the card to fat32 but nothing has made a difference. It is not the games that are the problem as i have a DS and a R4 card for that and it all works fine.
I am totally at a loss as to what to do and any help would be much appreciated!!

Hi Emma,
What size Micro SD card are you using? Have you left enough space on there for the SAV files themselves? What brand of card is it? There have been issues with Kingston 4GB Micro SD cards and slow loading problems.

Hi, I wondered if any one could help with my problem? I bought a NDSi XL, found that my old R4 card wouldn't work, therefore I have purchased a new card from the supplier I used before. I don't seem to be able to find the software for my new card, and I have read most of the answers to other peoples problems on the forum, but I am still confused!! My card has R4DSiLL Upgrade Revolution for DS v1.45 on it. Does anyone have any ideas please. Also do I need to format my new SD card, I have a Kingston 4GB MicroSDHC card. Thanks.

Hi Bonym
You don't need to format the Kingston card unless you have issues later on.
For the software - you have two options:
1) Try tio find a web address (URL) written either on the card itself or someplace on the packaging. That is where you need to go to get the latest software - no other software will work.
2) Ask the retailer you purchased from for the software
