First off, hello everyone!
Secondly,
My daughters DSi XL comes up with an error saying " An error has occured. Press and hold the POWER button to turn the system off. Please refer to Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for Details"
I wondered if someone could please enlighten me as to what I need to do to update the R4i card, if that's what the issue is?
Thanks in advance

HI,
The error you are receiving is indicative of a compatibility issue between your R4i and the software currently installed on your console. Please can you confirm the number in the star on the front of your R4i card and the single digit number on the reverse of the R4i card, this is located on the circuit board. In addition to this please let me know the software currently installed on your console. You can find this by selecting the spanner icon on your home screen. The software version will be clearly seen on the top screen in the bottom right hand corner.

Thanks for the reply and assistance.
The R4i number in the star is v1.4.1
There is no single digit number on the reverse of the card.
The console software is Ver 1.4.3E
Again, thanks for the help.
Regards

unfortunately the card you have is compatible with the v1.4.1 software and not the v1.4.3 latest Nintendo release.
I would suggest that you keep checking the manufacturers website to see if they have come ups with a kernel update to work around this. Then follow their instructions on how to update your card to make it compatible once more :-)
Many Thanks

Ok, thanks for the help.
Would it pay for me to just buy another card or are they not available yet for the Ver 1.4.3E software?
Thanks

Unfortunately as far as I am aware the v1.4.3 cards have not yet been developed.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is a URL?
Is it the web address on the card?

I have checked their website today and unfortunately the update has not yet been released. Feel free to check their website regularly and you can also email them too to see if they have further information for you.
Many Thanks
