Hiya,
I recently bought 3 (one for each of my kids, and one for me!) R4 SDHC Upgrade cards (the games engine ones) with 4gb micro cards. I had no problem installing the software and getting the games on, but I can't access the cheats. The icons all appear in the top screen but apart from the 'game' one at the very top, the other 3 are greyed out.
I also have an original (I think) R4 card with a 2gb micro card - it plays all the exact same games fine and I have no trouble accessing the cheats, although the look and set-up is very different.
I have copied some of the .sav files over from the original to the upgrade, where I had previously used a cheat and saved it, and it has worked ok - for example, I opened all the characters and vehicles in MariokartDS and saved it, and they are still all there on the upgrade.
The main reason I went for the Upgrade cards was to be able to change the skins, as I never figured out how to do it with the first one I have. (I can't find the image files anywhere in the firmware folders), but if I had to chose between being able to use the cheats or have a certain picture on the startup screens, its gotta be the cheats everytime!
Any help would be most appreciated

Duh!
Just figured out I simply have to press the 'B' button to get to the top screen menu. How thick am I 
Had a little practice too... Yoshi ROCKS in his egg car.
I totally love this card. Right must get to bed.....

I've also figured out how to change the skins on the original card I had, the file/folder names need to be in CAPS. I'm on fire today!...
