I have the R4i Upgrade v1.4 with an 8GB micro SD card, i've formatted it using the guide provided here nd downloaded all the correct firmware, now, the T-Flash adapter that came with the card does not work, it's not recognised by my laptop or pc and gets very hot so i'm assuming its manufacturing issue, i borrowed a Micro SD USB 2.0 adapter from a family member which they got with their R4 card (silver one with a black tip) this gets recognised all well but when i transfer / copy and firmware it wont let me drag and drop each folder as suggested, it gets so far and freezes so i do each file individually and it works, now, i can transfer a few roms on there but after about 4 - 5 roms it wont transfer any more, its a 7.42 partition so theres more than enough space, so, any idea what could be going on here?

Hi Godofwap,

Can you confirm that the card reader you are using is SDHC certified? If you don't already know all micro sd cards above 2GB are actually Micro SDHC cards (The HC stands for High Capacity). The architecture inside the SDHC cards is different to standard SD cards and requires updated card readers. Most card readers these days will be SDHC certified though, but it is worth a check. Can you get back to us?

Many Thanks
