Ive noticed that some you all have a problem with the DS not seeing the r4 card. i have had this happen with the first card that i had bought. but now with the 2 diffrent ones ive got, i have had the ds not see them too, but after i take out the card and put it back in it worked again. I think that this is due to how im turning the ds off. i think that i am catching it in a loading prosses and i turn it off. im not doing that anymore, But both card still work just fine, and i fully stand behind them all the way.
Try to remove the card and the sd card and reinsert sd card into r4 then r4 back into the ds.
If that does not work then your card may have shorted out. Try to contact your vendor and have them replace the card.

If the ds/dsl/dsi/dsixl is not seeing you r4 card try the "paper trick" some times the contacts on the r4 and ds dont make contact and need to be pushed together. this involves shoving a piece of folded paper between the card and the ds. you can google paper trick for r4 and a you tube vid should come up
