Hi, I bought a R4i Upgrade v1.4 4gb card from Mem Card Zoo just before Xmas - I was able to load software and games onto it no problem and the card was working fine in my nephews new DSI from Xmas morning until a few days ago! It just stopped working and won't load any files etc. when you switch the console on it just says 'loading .......'

I have looked at the card using 'my computer' on my PC and can only see 3 x .sav files - I cannot see any of the operating files or games files that I loaded originally ....... but when I try to load any of the files onto it again I get the message that the card is full!

I'm new to this forum and it looks as though any advice given so far has been pretty good so I am hopeful that someone can shed some light on this problem for me (I am new to the world of R4 etc as well!)

I would like to know what I should do to try to wipe the card 'clean' and start again!

Hi PBR,

I hope I can help you! Smile

It would seem that something has gone a bit weird with your micro sd card. To format it properly using the official sd formatter click here: How to format your Micro SD card for use in a DS Card

Then try again. When you load the card with files try to leave a 100mb or so free space for your sav files. If you do not then this may cause issues when the R4 tries to save files and there is no more room.

HI - Many thanks for the advice re. re-formatting the card - I have done it and so far so good .... just got to reload the games now!
